Case Study of Cumberland County College

Cumberland County College, located in Vineland, NJ, was recently recognized as one of the nation’s top 50 community colleges (ranked 29th in the U.S. and first in New Jersey). Cumberland County College has been a vital part of the South Jersey region since it was founded in 1966 as the first community college in NJ to open its own campus.

Clearbridge was asked to produce a branding campaign for Cumberland County College unlike anything that a New Jersey Community College has ever embarked upon—that is, a robust multi-media campaign to promote affordable college opportunity to families who might think college is out-of-reach for them.

Kids need to go to college to gain a skill and obtain a higher-paying job, which contributes to a successful life, but not every student has the confidence and drive to make college happen.

However, Cumberland County College is the College of “Yes, I Can!” That is the new mantra of the would-be college students of South Jersey! CCC offers young people a wide array of associate degree programs that will wet their appetite to learn. Plus, it’s an affordable way to get a bachelor’s or even a master’s degree!

Finally, students don’t have to be afraid or stressed about going to college. This campaign shouts the new mantra for everyone to hear. “Yes, I Can!”
